BLUE INFINITY MUSIC: OUR CREATIVE CONCEPT

#1 Provide an innovative, comfortable environment where songwriters, musicians, producers and publishers rethink how to best cooperate with each other….actually doing so in “real time”.

#2 Explore and implement emerging web technologies that engage music fans DURING the songwriting process, thereby creating motivation for ourselves and increased connections (and opportunities) with those fans. A win-win.

#3 Facilitate productions of new multi-media releases and business models related to such activity. Complete freedom and autonomy are afforded to each BIM artist. We believe such an environment will foster deeper creativity and collaboration.

Think of BIM as a “safe harbor and staging area” for new music. It is not about BIM owning copyrights, publishing, royalties, etc Original writers ALWAYS retain ownership of their work. They decide how, when (and if) a song ever gets completed for “commercial enterprise”. There is ZERO fear an artists original vision will ever be lost in the revision process, as all intellectual property rights are automatically secured by the author/composer.

This environment, what we like to call an “Artist’s Alchemy”, happens live, in front of an ever growing fan base. This means that free downloads and open communication are vital…an open window into the full creative process. This allows strong forward motion without traditional concerns about “the music business.” This is ALL about evolving a unique platform that supports “creative flow”. There will always be time to sell things. Cart must follow the horse friends!

Naturally, the BIM project will evolve as the music industry (and world) changes around us.

Tomoyasu Hotei is one of the leading guitarists in Japan who sold over 25
million albums over two decades.

Hotei possesses strong skills as not only a guitarist but also a talented
composer who can play various styles of music. His world famous tune
“BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY”was featured in Quentin Tarantino’s
film “KILL BILL” and has obtained a number of offers from all over the
world for other Hollywood films, TV commercials and shows, and sport
events.

His newest album “MODERN TIMES ROCK’N'ROLL” containing 50’s–80’s
rock hit covers comes out in Japan in Dec. 2009 and its worldwide
release also follows. The album includes legendary rock tunes such as “Born
To Be Wild”, “Johnny B. Goode”, “Telegram Sam” etc. and Hotei made them
regenerate with alive performances and modern technology.

David Carbonara has a gig many of his peers would covet: He writes music for the critically acclaimed AMC show “Mad Men.”

A former jazz trombonist, Carbonara loves his job and is grateful for the work. Yet even after he labors on 13 episodes for a full year, he says he won’t earn enough to support his family. A one-hour basic cable TV show like “Mad Men” pays $7,000 to $13,000 an episode, but at least half of that goes toward hiring musicians, paying for studio time, copying music and other costs that composers like Carbonara increasingly absorb as studios look to lower their expenses.

“You have to work 26 shows in a year to earn a living,” said Carbonara, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston who recently began work on an ABC drama without any idea as to when, or how much, he would be paid. “People don’t understand what we go through.”

Unlike most other workers in Hollywood, Carbonara can’t complain to a union about his pay rate or working conditions. That’s because he doesn’t have one.

In a heavily unionized industry, composers and lyricists are an anomaly in Hollywood. Along with production assistants, theirs are among the few remaining crafts not covered by a union contract.

Although conductors and orchestra musicians are covered by the American Federation of Musicians, composers and lyricists for television and movies are not represented by the AFM or anyone else. A group of them is determined to change that and is hooking up with an unlikely ally: the Teamsters.

Blue Infinity Music was recognized by MOG on their weekly top performer score card. We are posting this as evidence that a “proof of concept” exists. Now its all about replication. Sales and other metrics that we analyze followed a similar track, so we are able to verify all from independent, objective sources!

Its really hard to overstate how effective this could be! It is my goal to get at least 10% of the BIM community involved with supporting Blue Infinity Music on MOG. As this unfolds, I think it will become increasingly obvious why I’m so excited about providing something tangible that RL & Chicago fans can do to spread the word. One more preview vid before launch of “All Access”.

So you’ll hear that I truncated J’s take and added some chords he probably didn’t expect. Let’s see where it goes! I’m multi tasking while learning to use a new computer with it’s (slightly) improved recording software.
